We’re located in the western third of North Carolina, along the southern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We enjoy an elevation of about 2300 feet, sitting atop a ridge overlooking the South Carolina Piedmont and the Blue Ridges to the northwest of us. That affords us some spectacular views and produces our cool, dry mountain air.

Once you get to Saluda, time slows down. The crisp, clean air is delightful and rejuvenating. Saluda has always been a bedroom community. People from all over the United States come here and rent vacation homes to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There’s plenty to do close by….or you can do nothing at all.

Saluda’s downtown is a Historic Business District with general stores, antique and specialty shops filling historic buildings. The personality and charm of our downtown is matched by the southern hospitality of our people.
